How do you finally lose weight? Cry for René. – Summary to Remember

I came out of my cocoon after René died, I noticed that I had gained a lot of weight

I had never been overweight my entire life. I was always proud of that, and René would not have approved

Now, to me, dieting meant you had to stop eating. So I stopped eating. Obviously that wasn’t going to work

I cut out the most expensive foods to lose weight. But I got to the point that I didn’t know what else to cut out

I lost a lot of weight planting and eating from my garden. I was not cutting down, I was eating more, enjoying it more

I decided I had to lose this extra weight before I died. I couldn’t ask my pall bearers to carry me at that weight

René pushed all his love and devotion to me into those peas, and squash. At a lower weight I blossomed once again
